Houston Hospice
Texas

Founded in 1980, Houston Hospice has long been recognized as the most established and trusted nonprofit, community-based hospice provider in Southeast Texas. For over four decades, generations of families have turned to Houston Hospice not only for its expert medical care but also for its integrity, compassion, and dedication to supporting patients and loved ones during the most difficult of times.
Houston Hospice is uniquely positioned to serve families throughout 13 Texas counties. Its facilities carry deep historical significance, with the administrative offices housed in Holcombe House, a stately 1925 English Tudor-style residence once belonging to former Houston mayor Oscar Holcombe. Adjacent to Holcombe House sits the Margaret Cullen Marshall Hospice Care Center, the largest nonprofit inpatient hospice facility in Southeast Texas, licensed for 37 beds and providing state-of-the-art comfort in a setting that feels warm and welcoming.
With specialized programs such as The Butterfly Program—the longest-serving pediatric hospice program in greater Houston—alongside a We Honor Veterans Level 4 partnership, bereavement services, pet therapy, and an extensive volunteer network, Houston Hospice has become synonymous with comprehensive, patient-centered care. This is backed by their accreditation by the Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP).
We began our partnership with Houston Hospice several years ago, and over that time have produced books for three separate locations, spanning 13 counties across Southeast Texas, as well as a Spanish-language edition designed specifically for Spanish-speaking families. With the added accessibility of a digital guide for all four books, our collaborative efforts have ensured that patients and families throughout Southeast Texas have quick access to important and easy-to-navigate hospice and other end-of-life care resources.
Our collaboration with Houston Hospice has already made a meaningful impact by expanding access and engagement across 13 counties and diverse communities. Looking forward, we are excited to continue this partnership, helping Houston Hospice evolve its marketing and communication tools while remaining true to the values of compassion, integrity, and excellence that have defined the organization for over 45 years.
Our Hospice Guidebook, produced by Partner Plus Media, is an invaluable tool for our hospice organization. It allows prospective patients and families an opportunity to fully understand the role of hospice and how we partner with them to ensure their loved one receives the most compassionate and quality care available. Additionally, it is a great resource we share with donors and referral sources, alike.
The team at Partner Plus Media was phenomenal. Our guidebook underwent a massive design and content overhaul, which was no small undertaking. They ensured our story was clear, compelling and visually appealing. The finished product is nothing short of amazing.
