Savannah Hospice

Founded with a mission to provide exceptional, holistic end-of-life care, Hospice Savannah has long been recognized for its innovative programs and compassionate services that extend far beyond medical care. Among its many offerings are programs that set it apart as a leader in hospice care. The Steward Center for Palliative Care utilizes a multi-disciplinary model of care that implements supportive strategies for patients throughout the continuum of their care, managing symptoms within the four corners of wellness: physical, social, psychological, and spiritual. The Eden Caregiver Institute, supported by a dedicated advocacy app, offers families tools and guidance to navigate caregiving challenges. The Butterfly Program specializes in care for pediatric patients who are being treated for serious conditions, while the Full Circle Bereavement Support Program ensures care for the whole family following the loss of a loved one, through counseling, memorial events like the annual “Tree of Light,” and programs such as Camp Aloha for grieving children.

Hospice Savannah also embraces the healing power of creative and therapeutic services, including massage therapy, music therapy, and storytelling through its Healing Arts program. By extending the guide to digital platforms, we are able to ensure that patients and families—no matter where they live—can easily access vital information. This accessibility not only strengthens family involvement, but also enhances Hospice Savannah’s role as a bridge between patients, caregivers, and the wider community.
