Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice

Kansas

Founded in 1983 by a group of dedicated community volunteers, Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice has been a trusted leader in end-of-life care for more than four decades. Originally known as Hospice Inc., the agency adopted its current name in 2002 to honor one of its founders, Dr. Harry Hynes. Today, it serves 25 counties across South Central and Southeast Kansas through eight office locations, remaining steadfast in its mission to enable people to live with dignity and hope while coping with loss and terminal illness.

At the heart of Harry Hynes Hospice is a commitment to listening. By understanding the unique needs, wishes, and traditions of each patient and family, the organization is able to design care plans that focus on comfort, dignity, and quality of life, providing not just medical care, but also emotional and spiritual support. Their dedication extends to veterans, offering specialized services to address the unique needs of those who have served, and recognizing the sacrifices they made to with a ceremony of appreciation and an Honored Veteran Pin.

Partner Plus Media partnered with Harry Hynes Hospice to produce their hospice guides, encompassing both the Southeast Kansas and South Central Kansas areas with two separate books. The guides highlight the story of Harry Hynes’ nonprofit roots and its decades of experience, descriptions of their specially trained care team, advance directives, and clear explanations of available services including grief and loss programs, and so much more. By providing each region with its own personalized guide, we are able to deliver the right information to their respective communities.

We worked closely with the leadership and communications team at Harry Hynes Hospice to ensure every detail was accurate and aligned with their mission. Our expert design team designed the guides from scratch, keeping their brand identity consistent across both guides and utilizing warm imagery and clear, compassionate language to ensure the content remains approachable yet professional.

These guides serve as a reliable source of information during a time when clarity and compassion are essential, while also strengthening the hospice’s reputation as a regional leader in end-of-life care. As the organization continues to honor its founder’s vision, we remain committed to producing high-quality, meaningful materials that reflect its enduring promise to walk alongside patients and families with compassion, respect, and expertise.
