Hospice Of Chesapeake

Maryland

Partner Plus Media partnered with Hospice of the Chesapeake to produce for them two hospice guides, with each guide covering two of the four counties of Maryland in which they operate. These comprehensive, easy-to-read hospice guides act as both a reference and a comfort for patients, caregivers, and family members and serve as an essential resource during one of life’s most difficult journeys.

Founded in 1979, Hospice of the Chesapeake has served more than 50,000 hospice patients across Anne Arundel, Prince George’s, Calvert, and Charles counties. Both guides were designed together to maintain the consistent branding, tone, and compassionate messaging that defines Hospice of the Chesapeake.

Our hospice guides—designed, printed and delivered at absolutely no cost to the hospice whatsoever—are funded by third-party advertisers whose products and services are not only relevant, but also inherently practical for patients and their families. With separate guides covering different service areas, advertisers within the guides remain local to the patients and families who intend to use them.

As the state’s largest independent not-for-profit hospice provider, Hospice of the Chesapeake is committed to its mission of caring for life throughout the journey with illness and loss. Their care model is holistic, focusing not only on patients’ medical needs, but also on the emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of the patients and their loved ones through various therapies. With two inpatient care centers in Pasadena and Waldorf, Maryland, Hospice of the Chesapeake offers an alternative to hospital stays when routine care is no longer possible and the patient’s symptoms or pain cannot be safely managed at home. With state-of-the-art care in a home-like setting, the inclusion of private suites with private bathrooms and other daily use amenities, and access to an expert interdisciplinary team, Hospice of the Chesapeake’s inpatient care centers provide a more intensive level of care. All this information, in addition to the levels of care, eligibility, and patient and family rights, provides a comprehensive overview of their hospice care.

By creating two tailored editions, Hospice of the Chesapeake is now able to provide every patient and family in their four-county service area with a hospice guide that is representative of their community. We look forward to supporting Hospice of the Chesapeake in future editions, ensuring their communication materials continue to reflect their unparalleled standard of care in Maryland.
