Opened in 1947, Henry Funeral Home proudly continues to be independently owned and operated and is a member of Selected Independent Funeral Homes. Membership in this select group is by invitation only, and is available exclusively to those funeral homes that practice the highest ethical standards, professional service, and community leadership. Henry Funeral Home is the only funeral home in Staunton to receive this distinct recognition.

Henry Funeral Home also celebrates 60 years as a member of the International Order of the Golden Rule, having received their invitation on May 4, 1958. This is an association of dependable funeral directors with approximately 1300 member firms from communities throughout the world

Client Objectives

With a rich tradition of the highest standards of service to the local community, our client wanted a Family Funeral Planning Guide, that was customized to their particular requirements. The guide needed to complement their existing resources and would have to continue to present the funeral home in the very best light to the families they serve and to the wider local community.

As with all of our funeral home clients, the client was especially keen that the sale of advertising was presented professionally and respectfully to the local business community.

How we helped

As with every project we undertake, our sales team carried out their duties in a respectful and professional manner, with the client’s reputation front of mind at all times. A carefully selected concise blend of reputable, relevant local businesses was recruited to advertise in the guide.

Our design team communicated with the client to understand their exacting wishes for the guide. Delivered ahead of schedule, we created a personalized 40 page Family Funeral Planning guide designed and written in a manner that met each one of our clients wishes. We complemented this with a HTML5 digital version that would help our client and the families it serves share the guide socially.
